Hi there,

I’m Tom Feeney,
a Senior Product Designer
for enterprise AI, data platforms, and design systems.

I turn ambiguous 0-to-1 challenges and complex workflows into clear, scalable products through product strategy, information architecture, interaction design, and systems thinking.

Currently open to new opportunities.

Tom Feeney

With 15+ years as a Senior Product Designer, I have shaped enterprise software, AI-powered reporting, data-rich internal tools, and safety-critical HMI for Apple, Tesla, Audi, eBay, and other technology companies.

My work combines product strategy, information architecture, interaction and visual design, research, and prototyping. I partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and executive stakeholders to align direction and carry ideas through the full product lifecycle from discovery to implementation.

I do my best work in ambiguous 0-to-1 spaces and complex workflows that need structure. The goal is always clarity, usefulness, and trust—making sophisticated products easier to understand without oversimplifying what matters.

Selected Work

Selected product design case studies showing how I frame complex problems, define product direction, build scalable systems, and carry work from research through implementation.

UX Process

My process starts by defining the right problem, understanding the people and systems involved, and aligning success criteria before moving into interface design. I use research, workflow mapping, information architecture, prototyping, experimentation, and implementation review to reduce ambiguity and deliver products that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

AI Sandbox

Two functional AI-assisted products showing how I move from product definition and information architecture through interaction design, visual direction, testing, and front-end implementation.

Kaiju Run | 怪獣ラン

Kaijū Run is a playable AI-assisted browser game that demonstrates end-to-end product design, game UX, visual direction, and front-end implementation.

The experience combines atomic attacks, shield mechanics, enemy waves, gameplay statistics, dynamic content, and trivia into a compact, responsive arcade system.

AI accelerated concept exploration, visual direction, gameplay systems, and front-end development; iterative play-testing and design judgment shaped the final experience.

AI Enterprise UX Intelligence

AI Enterprise UX Intelligence is a human-in-the-loop enterprise AI triage product that transforms notes and support tickets, URLs and uploaded documents into prioritized issues, ownership recommendations, business impact and confidence scores, and actionable next steps.

The human-in-the-loop workflow helps Product, Design, Research, Support, and Engineering teams move from fragmented evidence to structured action while preserving human review and decision control.

Digital Sandbox

A curated space for visual experiments, photography, illustration, and AI-assisted image studies that sit outside my product design case studies. This page is intentionally image-led: a place to show creative range, art direction, composition, mood, and craft without forcing every piece into a formal work story.

Toolbox

These are the preferred tools that I've been working on to streamline my creative process. I'm always open to learning new methodologies, approaches and strategies to hone my craft.
